On the pages where you can buy Gritty Kids, we use a Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel. When you buy through our website, we also tell Meta about the purchase, including your email address in hashed form, so we can see which ads lead to sales. Some US state laws, including California’s, call this “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising. Nothing about your child is ever shared, and none of this happens in the App.
If you opt out, we stop loading the Meta pixel for you and stop sending your email address, IP address, browser details, and Meta cookie identifiers with any purchase. We may still tell Meta that a sale happened, with the amount and plan only. Your choice is saved in a cookie in this browser, so you will need to opt out again on another browser or device, or if you clear your cookies.
We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, we treat you as opted out automatically.
